Introduction to ALMA
The safe, hygienic and at the same time appealing packaging of food is of great importance for retailers as well as the final customers. Since many decades the ALMA Packaging AG is an expert in the development and the coextrusion of multilayer films for food packaging. Through years of research and development, we have developed high-quality films for industrial processing, which not only meet the hygienic and visual requirements of food manufacturers, but also satisfy the ever-increasing environmental awareness.
Our close cooperation with the food industry and suppliers of packaging materials enables us to respond quickly to the changing market needs of today and thus to offer our customers individual solutions at short notice.

Statement of the Manging Director
Since I joined Alma in 1978, the company has continuously adapted to the needs of the market. Together with our customers, we have developed films that guarantee our customers and business partners commercial success in the market.
The investments made into new extrusion lines, warehouses and silo capacities represent the security and future of ALMA Packaging AG.
For me personally, Alma stands for safety, quality, new challenges and sustainability, with CO2 savings being taken into account in all our developments.
